Weatherkit service works at some places and doesnt work other places. I have tried via vpn and I can see still working at USA but not working some part of europe
This is one of the comments to my weather app from users and also most of users think like that: Ever since Apple bought Dark Sky it's been wildly inaccurate.
How does it possible? What you think?
Next hour rain data is not available for US.
Hi all. I am working on weatherkit rest api to integrate to my android app. As a Dark Sky api user I can get timezone of the location which is requested which provides by Dark Sky api by default. But as far as i see there is no data for timezone info in weatherkit rest api. As an example it is necessary for sunrise data and etc. I know getting device timezone is easiest way but it's possible that an user can request a location has different timezone. I wish rest api provide location's timezone by default.
Hi all. I had an issue with upgrading weatherkit subscription for 2 days and my app's couldn't work for 2 days. If I create an other developer account (as an example my brother's) and if I use weatherkit at same time with 2 different developer account. I mean 2. account will be used when 1. account have an issue. Would I be violating the policy?
The issue started again at 04/04/2023 05:30 GMT As I observed the issue it mostly success with responding requesting again with same request parameters after 15 seconds later after getting error.
My question is to Apple Weatherkit developers. How can't you learn whole 3 years working an api seamlessly? Weatherkit has lots of issues today isn't it? Just delay Dark Sky api closing date to 2024 and fix this service otherwise it's worthless.
Hi all. What is the simple levels of next hour precipitation data (light, medium, heavy)? How should I determine the levels.
Hi all. I am working on weatherkit rest api to integrate to my android app. As a Dark Sky api user I can get summaries text which really helpful for users especially who interested for the next hour rain summary text. But weatherkit doesn't give any human readable text summaries. I ask for it from weatherkit developers as soon as possible. Is there recomandation to create a simple way for human readable text summaries for now?
