I seem to have fixed mine by turning off the auto switching. I set connect to this mac to "when last connected to this mac" and did the same on my phone. It seems to work, but time will tell.

I am seeing the same issue, though add Adobe Acrobat Pro and Reader also crash.

Once it tells you that you cannot run it due to it being from an unknown developer (Semantec is unknown??), go to System Preferences/Security & Privacy/General. Click on the lock icon in the bottom left hand corner and login. There should be an allow button to let the script run.
