Since 14.2 beta, the iPad TV app has corrupted my movies list in 2 ways: 1) Non-itunes movies are now greyed out and when ou clink on them the download icon is spinning. I can't delete these references from the iPad or the managing Mac (running Big Sur). On the Big Sur Mac, it just spins on syncing the iPad (even though nothing should be syncing - it's all "manually manage..." 2) A few iTunes purchased movies are showing up at the bottom of the list with a number (often preceded by a"-" instead of the name. These are not displaying their own name. I have tried logging out of my iTunes account, logging into a different account then back to my account and it doesn't correct the problem. Also - my iPhone displays the movie titles correctly - this is just on my iPad. I have also rebooted the iPad. The only thing I haven't tried yet is a hard restore of the iPad (my last known good back up is a little older than I'd like).
