Also seeing 403 Forbidden message when trying to see / edit Advanced App Clip Experiences in appstore connect.
Having the exact same thing happen. All ways of opening the app clip except for QR scan or NFC scan work, but for QR/NFC it says "app clip is unavailable"
Currently experiencing the exact same issues. app clip was working and everything was fine, then a app release with no significant changes to the app clip (maybe a few lines of code changed) and now every scan or QR/App Clip Code/NFC shows "App Clip Unavailable" on the app clip card and users can't get past that.
hey @nicholasjcameron i see that it is working now, did you do something to fix it? we are currently having the same problem with our app clips and would love to know anything you did to fix it. thanks so much for literally any information, even if u think it might not be relevant.
For those who come across this in the future:
This was resolved by realizing ourselves that the app clip bundle size had slowly creeped up above 15mb and we realized this and reduced the size of the bundle and things tarted working again.
Following up here for those who are having a similar issue.
We ended up realizing that we could upload a advanced app clip experience for our domain with no path and it technically resolved the issue. I still am not sure if it's actually fixed with the default app clip experience, but because we uploaded a advanced app clip for the domain.
Specifically, what I'm saying is we uploaded a AACE for appcip.example.com vs just uploading them for appclip.example.com/whaever_urls_we_wanted_specific_things_for and that basically lets you have a fallback AACE for anything without a more specific AACE registered for it.
hope this helps. would be lovely to know what happened, but we may never know......
