This worked for me:
Open simulator
On the Menu on top:
Device -> Erase All Content And Settings...
Device -> Restart
Quit Simulator
Quit Xcode

The most effective way is to just use:
.contentMargins(.vertical, 0)
.contentMargins(.horizontal, 0) is also available and they both work great.
