Hello,
I wonder if multicast is possible on the third-party device side.
If I understand correctly, all devices in a multicast session have the same session ID. As the iPhone decides this parameter, I will never be able to use this feature on my third-party device.
Am I correct ? Is it possible to connect more than 5 iPhone to a third-party UWB device ?
Thanks for reading me!

Hello everyone!
We are a small team developing third-party accessories using NXP and Qorvo chips.
Two of our teammates have bought the new iPhone 14 and it seems that we have no azimuth no more regarding UWB sessions. We have tested on the Qorvo NearbyInteraction app from the App Store.
By debugging on our own application, it seems we never have a valid direction vector.
Is anyone experiencing the same issue ? Did Apple made an iPhone 14 less efficient than the iPhone 13 on UWB ?
Regards,
Alexandre
Hi!
My team has been playing with Object Capture on Mac for a while, and now that we got our hands on a MacBook Pro M2, we are starting to see differences between running the API on a Mac M1 and a Mac M2.
The major difference observed is that on the M2 outputs, the object is correctly rotated, normal to the ground, while M1 outputs may have random rotations.
This has been observed on latest Ventura 13.5.1 on the following machines:
MacBook Pro M2 Pro 32Go
MacBook Air M1 8Go and Mac mini 8Go.
We have tested using both the PhotoCatch application and the HelloPhotogrammetry example (even using the same compiled binary). For sure we use the same options and same files on both sides.
Is this expected behavior ? We would appreciate having the same rotation on both side.
