I am writing to notify you about how some of the creators are abusing the In-App Events of the App Store. This commonly happens in the USA, Canada, Australia,UK,... Store. To know more about this concern just follow these steps in App Store , For example USA store:
1-Open App Store application in your iPhone or iPad
2-Tap on search bar and write PDF
3-Do not hit enter, Just wait until you see the suggested keyword
As you can see in the picture, The suggested keywords are not normal, it couldn't be possible to have a large number of people who type the same and do a search for a product this way. It seems that something is trying to deceive the AI.
To get a deeper insight into what's going on there, tap on the first suggested keyword and take a look at the list of apps that are shown to you.
In the result list of all the suggested keyword research you will see the apps of these three creators:
1- CACAO MOBILE SP Z O O
2- Atlasv Global Pte. Ltd.
3- Ivan Marzan
How it would be possible? All the apps have the same In-App Events, Just someone telling me what's going on? Why Apple couldnt stop these fake activities and should we follow these tricks as a developer? It's disgusting.
Each of the creator has two or three same apps ( How possible? Why?), And The worst thing: in the Screenshots the app ( in iPhone ) of these creators, you will see a cheating by adding a verified badge of Appstore for app of the month or app of the year, Just by cheating to deceive users for showing they have this badge while it is just photoshopped.
to summarize all my explanation, You will understand all the details in this screen video on the link below:

I faced a very strange and incomprehensible thing in the Appstore and I decided to write about that.
I found there are 3 apps available on the App Store, Exactly same functionality, Same performance but small changes in graphic icons and the colors, As I know duplicating Apps in the Appstore are not allowed, These apps are duplicated but this is not the onliest reason I am writing to you.
Here is screen shot :
I tried to use the apps and one thing caught my attention ,which is common in the three ones;
At the first time of running the apps, You will see a slider and before you even see the homepage of the app, It asks you to give the app a rate.
Just take a look at the picture below, This Rate box will be opened just in 5 seconds after you open the app for the first time.

What I can not understand is how a user of the app should give a rate to an app while never seeing it or trying it?
This is a problem and the Apple team who are checking the apps before verifying it should care about this.
Also I did not understand what might be the reason for the existence of three different apps in the Appstore while these three are exactly the same as each other in the performance, functionality, running, interface and almost all the details? Why should there not be any control for stopping the growth of these duplicated apps?
Warning: Abuse of a leak in App-store relates to In-App Events, is back again
A while ago there was a report of a leak in the App Store due to some developers abusing the App Store events, which was quickly fixed by the App Store, and unfortunately I have to inform you that it is back again (Here is the link to the previous report: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/718440) , And it needs very urgent attention to stop the creators from cheating in their marketing.
This is how some of the creators are abusing the In-App Events of the App Store.
This commonly happens in the USA, Canada, Australia,UK,... Store. To know more about this concern just follow these steps in App Store , For example USA store:
1-Open App Store application in your iPhone or iPad
2-Tap on search bar and write PDF
3-Do not hit enter, Just wait until you see the suggested keyword
like
word pdf converter -master
word to pdf converter
photo to pdf converter master
As you can see in the picture, The suggested keywords are not normal,
As you know, Suggested keywords means many people used those keywords to search for the same product , and it is obvious that it wouldn't be possible to have a large number of people who type the same and do a search for a product this way. It seems that something is trying to deceive the AI.
To get a deeper insight into what's going on there, tap on the first suggested keyword and take a look at the list of apps that are shown to you.
In the result list of all the suggested keyword research you will see the apps of these three creators: 1- Atlasv Global Pte. Ltd. 2- Ivan Marzan How it would be possible? It is in the iPhone App Store of Australia, Canada, Germany, France,...
Recently, The Spam applications have been growing in the App Store and these apps are using fake activities to upgrade the rank of their apps in the App Store. They have a trick to deceive the App Store for accepting their spam and duplicated apps.
The trick is that these scammers design their app only for iPhone and only in a specific language and then request to release the app in that specific country.
They had find this leak to deceive the App store in order to have their spam apps to be accepted in the Appstore for publishing,
They know very well that the App store accepts their spam apps, because the app store mainly accepts apps in a certain language, no matter if they are duplicate or spam apps, the App Store will accept. This is the leak. Please be notified that this trick is working just for iPhone apps.
After a while, They add new languages and ask to be published in the App Store of different countries by adding different languages to the app, One by one, and then with the help of too many bot downloads and posting fake high rates and reviews, Their apps will be the first ranked suggested app in important and popular keywords, Even without paying for Search Ads or so.
This is quite evident in the stores of Canada, Australia and Germany, Kindly please search the keyword “PDF editor” in the store of Canada And check the activity of thi app :
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pdf-converter-pdf-viewer/id6449454399
This is a new app, With no feedback from the users, But this is the first app ranked in the keyword “PDF Editor” in the Canada App Store, This is happening just by using bots to make too many downloads on this keyword for this app, If you check it deeply, You will find out most of the parts of this app is not available in English yet while they add English Language like Payment forms.
These are other apps who are using this method to publish their apps and making their apps high ranked in important keywords by using the described fake activities,
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pdf-editor-sign-fill-more/id6447789797
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pdf-editor-sign-fill-docs/id6452676035
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/edit-fill-pdf-sign-docs/id6449665066
You should consider that affecting the App store algorithms are against the App store guidelines, and these apps are exactly doing this and all these activities are against App Store guidelines, So you should take this report seriously.
This leak has been in the App Store for a long time and I reported before many times but it seems it is not clearing deeply.
