Obsolescence and the new way of consuming
I have a MacBook Pro early 2011, that has a problem on its performance since I bought it. The Apple care changed the logicboard in 2015 but it’s still with issues like lazy, duplicate images when initializing....I upgraded it with 960 gb expecting it would have more life. The fact is that it’s conspired an obsolete product and now I have tha same problem but a i can’t replace or repair it, even though it was bout in Australia and I’m in the Brazil. I’m disappointed with this planned obsolescence. There are not currently national laws to prohibit companies like Apple to do it, the worst is that it turns the old product into waste. France is an exemple of a government compromised with environmental and consumers rights, it prohibited the obsolescence of a healthy and usable product. I was wondering about the obsolescence problem, and it is not just referred to products. People are becoming obsolate as well.. can they be upgrade or just be replaced for a new version? No good!!!
