I’ve reported a number of times via the feedback app a software bug in photos or the camera or both, where photos taken on the macro mode using digital zoom. It creates a sensor burn effect or some sort of artefacting/blotches where you can see the software trying to smooth the image but instead leaves digital marks everywhere on it. This has been reported in EVERY beta and apple hasn’t acknowledged or fixed it. It’s now the RC release and the issue is still there. I would NOT advise installing this update if you enjoy taking macro photos.

The images processed using the iphone 13 pro or pro max using the auto macro mode feature causes an error with the processing and pixel spots/burns on the image. This does not occur on ios 15 at all. I am hoping this is fixed in the next beta release and definitely before the public release of this ios version. Has anyone else had similar issues with macro photos on ios

It appears that when taking photos using macro mode (the flower showing up in the bottom left corner) the photos app post image processing causes damage to the image in the form odd blotches/spots on the photo which cannot be removed/edited out. If the image is sent to someone else they are still there.
