Apple Wiki is also going with the above list you provided so going with that for now!
I use that list too, didn't see the comments with the above info until you pointed it out, thanks for responding!
Wondering if you are seeing something similar again the past few days?
I see even numbers of sales past few days and my proceeds more than doubled, so either app is taking off or another error. What worries me is my ad spend max budget is based off of a percentage of my sales, sure would suck if my sales were imaginary and my ad search ad bill was real.
When I've been looking at hourly sales info I don't see double amounts though, events happen randomly during day
Thanks Kevin, I hadn't thought about the history of it, even though I've had those different accounts over the years!
I'll go back to the clients and see what exactly they have disabled and ask if they can try different configurations that meet their goal of blocking file upload to iCloud without also blocking sign in. II imagine they just selected every option available to ensure the most restrictions. I looked at the reference you mentioned and see what you mean, not a simple "block iCloud".
Hi Ed, thanks for responding. I'm performing forensic work on devices for government and corporate clients and would like to ensure I'm accessing as much information as possible and this file is the only spot currently not being assessed. It may be totally worthless for forensic purposes but without being able to assess it, I cannot be sure.
Thank you
I think you're on to something.... Even starting June 17th (but still in line with normal volume of units) all the way through July 1st but June 20-29 units are double the long term trend so probably 17, 18 and 19 and 30th were just coincidently even, the rest got doubled.
Lesson learned for me, I need to start tracking sales myself. Right now I'm just using StoreKit to check subscription status on device, need to start sending data to my servers when purchase button pressed and succeeds.
Is there a specific email address for this topic or just generic support one?
Any word back from them?
No, all regular user sales, not institutional, and no big spikes in sales volume.
Thanks Quinn for responding. Is there some way for me to check which special entitlements an app in the App Store has (i.e. not one of mine) so I can figure out how they were able to do this? Two apps in particular are doing exactly what I want to do, same use case basically, so if they used the local push connectivity entitlement it would bolster my request for the special entitlement.
Thanks,
Colin
Hi Matt, I noticed an app (Norton 360) that was able to obtain my SSID (shown in the app) but that does NOT have access to location data, VPN, hotspot config, DNS settings, etc. nor did it ever ask for permissions for any of them and yet can still obtain the SSID. Can a developer request special access to obtain the info while not meeting the above requirements?
Thanks,
Colin
Perfect, thank you!
So when I go to any web site that tests if your ISP supports IPv6 they all say yes since the domains used all have A records and AAAA records, but when just an AAAA record (such as for api6.ipify.org), fails to resolve.
Hi Quinn, thanks for responding. Found the issue this morning, nothing to do with iOS or my app. Friend that was testing it said it worked perfectly for him and after more analysis this morning I found a rather odd issue on my end, both my mobile LTE provider and home fibre provider (not the same companies or networks) do not appear to be resolving domain names that only have AAAA records while still providing IPv6 addresses to connected devices.
