This is a suggestion to allow screen shots for apple apps to be edited without having to create a new version of the app. Google supports it and it is very convenient.

I have tried my app on all possible simulators and real devices including iPhones and iPads. It works fine but I keep getting rejected for the same reason.:
We still discover one or more bugs in your app. Specifically, we were unable to sign in, an error message displayed after we tapped "Submit".
Please review the details below and complete the next steps.
Review device details:
Device type: iPad
OS version: iOS 14.7
Next Steps
Please run your app on a device to reproduce the issues, then revise and submit your app for review.
The submit button logs the user in by calling our API. After a timeout it retries and finally shows a message about not being able to connect. This is happening every time I submit an app review.
side note: when I set my device to 100 packet loss in the developer options a similar message appears when I use the apple store app. Why is this ok for apples apps but not mine?
Any ideas on a solution?
Thanks!
The app I am developing uses the Keychain and everything works on the simulator and my device (ios 14.5.1). When I change the Version number (marketing version) in Xcode (12.5) the KeyChain data is removed.
It happens only when I change that number. The signing provision, Display Name, bundle identifier, and build number all remain the same.
