I don't understand. This didn't happen before.

Hi, I have an app, which I understand must be updated for newer versions of iOS. I found this out when the app on my iPhone is not apple to run and the message read that the app needs to be updated.
I had developed the app on Adobe Animate with actionscript 3.0. I tried to upload the app using Transporter. However, I was prompted to have XCODE. I downloaded XCODE 11.3.1 for my MacBookAir version 10.14.6. However, I am still unable to upload the .ipa file to Transporter.

Dear all,
I am new to app development and this is my first attempt at an app for iOS using Adobe Animate. I managed to publish an ipa file, but wish to publish adhoc to test it on a brand new iPhone. I have changed the provisioning profile to adhoc distribution.. but still encounter this error. Can anyone please advise? Would be most grateful.
