Users can buy an anual auto renewable subscription in my app. Sometimes, a user buys a new phone and they use a new Apple Id on the new phone. In that case, they want to cancel the subscription linked to their old Apple Id, but sometimes they have no access anymore to the old Apple Id. Is there a solution to cancel this kind of subscriptions?
A user who does not have access to an iTunes Account from which that subscription was purchased should not be able to change the subscription. The account's active email address will receive an email prior to renewal. That will inform them of the pending renewal in a timely fashion and they can log onto their iTunes Account from any Apple device and cancel the subscription. If they have lost access to that iTunesx Sccount then I guess their only alternative is to reject the charge through their credit card company.
