TRIM on 3rd Party SSDs with APFS

It seems to be unreliable. Sometimes it indicates trim - yes, other times not.

With beta 5 I booted into Sierra on another partition, which showed trim as disabled. I enabled it there and when I booted back into High Sierra later, it was still enabled.

Clearly with every upgrade it has been turned off.

I was able to get it enabled using the latest version of the Trim Enabler app. This was an app I had used before the trimforce option was available. I too found that I could NOT get trimforce to enable trim in HS. No errors, in fact, it seemed to indicate a successful activation of trim, but trim was NOT enabled when I checked. With Trim Enabler, trim was properly enabled and has remained so.

I am also using DiskSensei, which uses the same TrimEnabler Extension. I think, it overrides the bug. Still active.
