10.13 beta 3 links

what do the firmware update / full bundle update do? will this fix my problem of getting an error on installation 'can't verify firmware'??

Will any of these fix High Sierra 10.13 beta 3 filevault locking my drive and not being able to be unlocked or booted into? Thank you!

These links are only for updating beta 2 update 1 to beta 3.

They are not the full installer.

So the links in this thread will not solve any problems associated with initial installation of earlier betas.

However a full installer of beta 3 is available in the mac app store. You just run the beta configuration file for it to show up in the mac app store which you can then download. You can either run the installer app or make a bootable usb of the full installer and install it from there instead.

Not sure why it would be locked up like that. If you already installed beta 3 then you don't need the links in this thread.

Maybe you should get the full installer instead, make a bootable usb, reformat the drive and do a clean install of beta 3.

I hope you have a backup before you installed beta 3 and before it got locked up.

I didn't do a backup sadly. The filevault locked up and rebooted. Now my Macintosh HD is locked and my password only sends it into a boot loop when I enter it. I can see it's 60% encrypted in Recovery under terminal using 'diskutil apfs list' but cannot unlock it. Any recommendations?

I have the same problem. Locked up at 91% and cant enter any password anywhere. 0KB disk space left. tried to diskutil apfs decrypt/encrypt, nothing working.. Does it help to keep laptop on before sign in, or does filefault only encrype while logged on? Disk Utility Programm also not working - First Aid always fails with error 8. Tried target mode with another beta laptop; didnt work. although thtat laptop was still on beta 2. filevault was only activated in beta 3 if Im right, and yes sadly backup was disabled during beta 1&2. Holding out for a solution..
