Time Machine - Local backups

In Sierra and prior versions, you could disable local backups for time machine with the command "tmutil disablelocal".

Now it says "unrecognized verb", does anyone have a solution for this?

Tried "man tmutil" in mac 10.13 High Sierra beta version; Didn't see a replacement command.

Seems like "tmutil disable" is the most similar one.

I haven’t found a replacement since High Sierra ditched the disable verb. Now you have to turn off automatic backups or delete the local snapshots manually. You can see which snapshots are stored on your system with sudo tmutil listlocalsnapshots / and then deleting them with tmutil deletelocal snapshots followed by everything after 2017-, or with tmutil thinlocalsnapshots followed by the amount of space you want to free up in bites. A total pain.

It looks like Xcode & simulator data taking my space
