Can't submit tvOS app for Review. Must be Built with GM versions of Xcode

Which version OS X?

It seems this recently happened before. I submitted a bug report.

Yes, others in the same boat - again....the backend is slow being updated to work with latest release tools.

The same problem after updating to Xcode 7.2.1. Every new update seemed to cause some problems....

have the same issue. hope that apple will submit a 7.2.2 or a workaround today?

No. 7.2.2 will just make it all happen over again...that's the issue - new Xcodes that don't match with what the backend thinks is allowed. Apple needs to learn to update the backend first, then release a new Xcode, not the other way 'round.

Same issues tring to submit a new build for tvOS with Xcode Version 7.2.1 (7C1002):

"New apps and app updates must be built with the public (GM) versions of Xcode 6 or later, OS X, and tvOS SDK. Don't submit apps built with beta software including beta OS X builds."

Radar hasn't been updated and still seeing issue, so I decided to try something out:

1) Go here and download Xcode 7.2 https://developer.apple.com/downloads/

2) Install 7.2

3) Rebuild project

4) Upload archive

5) Submit app for review - success!

If you have an update that you need to get out, looks like this is a workaround.

I'm going to wait till end of the day today.

If no reply from Apple, I'll downgrade my Xcode and rebuild/reupload my archive. Can't afford to wait a week just to be be able to submit this.

I was just able to successfully submit my tvOS app for review on 7.2.1. So I think this might be resolved for anyone else as well.

Mine is OK too!

Well now it seems to be broken with XCode 7.3.1 as well. No beta's on my machine either and I can't uplaod a new tvOS app...
