The New Apple TV in Italy and in a lot of other countries does not have Siri functions.
But is it a problem that can be solved with a software update or is a lack of mic in the new remote?
It will be very ridicolous if in Italy and a lot of other countries the new remote will have the hardware lack of the mic.
The same hardware—including the microphones—will be shipped in all countries.
In countries where Siri feature is not available, the Siri/Search button will open the onscreen search app instead.

And so, if i purchase the Apple TV here in Italy in October, Siri functions will be added with a simple software update when available?
Is it possible to enable it similarly like in iPhone from the settings eventhough my region is not supported?

And how exactly will the onscreen search app work? Will it at least transcribe the user's voice input or are we back to the terrible onscreen keyboard?
