Add gambling license to build

Hi,

I have created an app for a sports club that runs a community lotto, it was rejected by the app store for not having a license.

I have spoken the gambling commision authority and they have confirmed that I do not need a license from them but I do need a license from the local council.

I have applied and successfully be assigned a license for the lotto, my question is how or where do I store this license within my build.

The license is just text i.e. MUDC/SL/02C/2019

If someone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Anthony

ASRGs say this about that:

5.3.4 Apps that offer real money gaming (e.g. sports betting, poker, casino games, horse racing) or lotteries must have necessary licensing and permissions in the locations where the App is used, must be geo-restricted to those locations, and must be free on the App Store. Illegal gambling aids, including card counters, are not permitted on the App Store. Lottery apps must have consideration, chance, and a prize.

I take it 'must have' means the dev should provide 'evidence of' to Apple, during submittal, such as via the meta data notes field and/or provide it w/an appeal via the resolution center.

I don't see a mandate to include it in the app, but if that's important to you, use an 'about' button, etc. or add a simple 'gambling lic. XXXX' ref. to any user instructions/disclaimers, etc.

>it was rejected by the app store for not having a license.

appeal or resubmit and include a pdf of the license in the notes to App Review also indicating that the gambling commission authority informed you that this license would be sufficient for their purpose.

And I'd edit your post to remove the license text (if that's the real text).
