So its changed from 44 to 50.
Unfortunetaly we have some static sized views which now hang off the bottom of the screen.
I know previously you are not meant to change the height of the bar but does anyone know if there is a valid way of getting it back to 44?

After seeing your post, being very surprised (I haven't seen Apple mention it in any WWDC videos or release notes), I investigated myself.
