If I don't renew the developer program...

Imagine that:

I have a paid developer account, and I publish an app.

What happens if I don't renew automatically my account?

- Will Apple delete immediatly the app from the App Store?

- What will happen to existing users? They will not be able to update, but will the App still work?

- Will I be able to use the same account as a free account, then renew a little bit later (say 2-3 monthes) and recover my app, eventually update it ?

- Will Apple delete immediatly the app from the App Store?

Apps associated from that account will be removed from sale when that account expires.

- What will happen to existing users?

Apps belonging to existing users will continue to function.

- Will I be able to use the same account as a free account

I would not use the same Apple ID for a free account. Make a new, unique Apple ID for free, instead.

- then renew a little bit later (say 2-3 monthes) and recover my app, eventually update it ?

I think you have 30 days to renew and still see your apps in your account. After that, they are gone.

FALSE. If you don't renew your Developer Program, Apple makes it impossible for existing users to see their iCloud Data if they have subscriptions. Somehow, they won't be able to pay you anymore, unless you renew the Program. They have tied App availability with Subscriptions. This of course is a classic trick from Apple to force us to continue paying that annual fee.
