What does "reject your binary" mean exactly?

After I submitted an appeal to the App Store about a (design) issue to do with my app, I was sent to webpage saying this:

The App Review Board will review your request and get back to you within one business day. Please note that if you reject your binary in iTunes Connect, your app cannot be reviewed and this request will be canceled.

Just to be sure - does this mean, if I delete the binary from the current build, or what?

I have not seen anywhere else I can "reject" my binary.

That means if something is not good like metadata, images, or cases that don’t have a privacy policy, they can reject the binary after publishing. They always put that warning that they will review the app very well despite speeding up the launch.
