hi all, i’m facing the issue when I want to perfom “ping”

Message is “ping: Lacking privilege for raw socket.”

sudo cp /sbin/ping* /usr/local/bin/

Alternatively,

change "/etc/paths"

from:

Hi guys! Same problem here after compile/install inetutils.

The alternative solution for me was set the suid for the ping command:

sudo chmod u+s /usr/local/bin/ping
