Hi, I am trying to debug a .NET MAUI App on an iPhone in Visual Studio 2022 on Windows. But to do this I need to add my Apple Developer Account to Visual Studio 2022.
When I try to do this, I get an error message saying:
Error adding account There was an error while trying to log in: Authentication service is unavailable.
When I give it a different user ID that is part of the same Apple Developer Account it gives the same error.
When I give an incorrect password, the same error appears.
I am experiencing the same issue. My issue started happening today. I was getting an error saying my provisioning profile wasnt available so I decided to remove the Apple Developer Account with the plan of adding it back right away. However, I am not able to add the account, I get the same error: There was an error while trying to log in: Authentication service is unavailable.

I'm having this issue as well. I can't say when it started as I've been working on android for a bit, but tried debugging on an iPhone today and had this issue. Like one of the above posts, I tried removing and re-adding the apple account and keep getting the same error:

Same Issue here. It seems to be an issue on Apple's side or Visual Studio. They need to patch it ASAP cuz we can't ship to production or code since they stopped support for Visual Studio Mac and the visual Code is a shit show to use.

Exact same issue. Authentication service failure on both mac and PC. Can sign into all my accounts on the web just fine.
