Xcode 16 Beta 3 simulator could not open Home Screen customize

Hey everyone, does anybody know how to open the customize menu in iOS 18 beta 3 simulator? This button seems dead.

I've tried, but none of this has had any effect.

  • Restart simulator and Xcode
  • Restart MacBook (M2 chip)
  • Erase simulator
  • Remove simulator and create a new one

Hi everyone, I found it was due to the default wallpaper. Just change the wallpaper to any non-default one, and the customize button works again. Now I can continue adopting the widget tint mode.

If you are talking about the the app Icon customization option when a long press on the home screen is made, then yes, I', having the same issue. I've also noticed that the IOS simulator background in black.

Changing the wallpaper did not solve the problem for me. RogerLee, how did you change to a non-defualt wallpaper?
