Screen Flickering after macOS Sonoma beta update.

Good Evening community. I wanted to share the issue I started facing after updating my MacBook Pro 2020 to the macOS Sonoma beta version. I used my Mac all day long and suddenly in the evening vertical lines started appearing on my screen. This got worse day by day. I visited the apple service centre but the simply told me that my display had the issue and it will cost around $4000.

I contacted Apple support who helped me out by suggesting me to remove the beta version. So I erased my Mac completely and reinstalled macOS Ventura. Now the screen flickers, but not continuously. It happens about once in 5minutes.

The apple diagnostic test of my Mac also says "No issues Found",with the reference code ADP000. So I don't think its my screen that has any fault because there is no accidental damage.

Can anyone help me over this issue, about fixing the screen flickering issue permanently?

*Ventura 13.6.7

Had the same issue but just of safari window flickering. Turns out it was an extension that was not compatible with (mendeley).

I’ve been dealing with this issue since the recent Sequoia update, but I finally found a solution and got it fixed. It was pretty annoying, but everything’s fine now. How did i fixed the issue? you can check here. [MacBook Pro Screen Flickering Issues: Causes and Solutions] https://techeasyreview.com/macbook-pro-screen-flickering-fixes/

Good Evening community. I have a 2023 MacBook Pro M2 Pro, and for some time now, every time I go to Settings and then to Display, or when I access the Control Center and then Screen Mirroring, or when I try to use the Handoff or AirPlay controls while connected to Wi-Fi, the screen starts flickering, showing dotted horizontal lines in a grayish color. I've done a clean format, booted in safe mode, run Apple's diagnostic tests, ensured all updates are current, and unpaired all external devices. As additional information, it seems like the screen is trying to connect to a non-existent external device, apparently this happens after logging in with iCloud. It's unbelievable that Apple isn't interested in resolving this issue, which seems to affect many users with their new M chips. Apple should also realize that not everyone has the ability to visit their stores since some people live far away. Here a video: https://youtube.com/shorts/KpqaNi2gaIQ?feature=share
