Can Vision Pro be used outdoor

I am interested in building some outdoor traffic/driving related apps. Can Vision pro used outdoor with rebliable position estimate?

I too have been wondering this . Most headsets explicitly discourage outdoor use and direct sunlight exposure , but Vision Pro is not like most headsets .

I saw that from the promotion video but I believe taking 3D movies is what it can do for now (extending on the iPhone capabilities.) I don't think it can scan outdoor environment similar to its indoor functionality as it will require much more powerful lidar or equivalent sensors. However, I believe this Vision Pro is a preview of the future Apple Car where it will include powerful 3D lidar or equivalent network of sensors.

I guess the outdoor 3D movies shown in promotion video might be intended as recorded by iPhones.
