clarification wanted for what the submission is run on

Hello! I’m looking for some clarification on what the swift submission is going to be ran on. I have some features that are exclusive to just iPhones, like haptics. The rules are pretty vague when it comes to what submissions run on, so I was looking to see if I could have the judges run the app on a physical iPhone if i marked as developed on xcode. Or if I can specify that in the submission comments, that would work as well. Thanks!

Hey WarnerBros,

Thank you for posting on the developer forums! To answer your question, the Swift Student Challenge has a dropdown under App Playground which says Which software should we use to run your app playground?. Choose what you made the software for. Currently there are two options; macOS 13 or iPadOS 16, so there is no iPhone/iOS.

Good luck, and have fun!

Check out this other thread - it might be helpful. From what I understand, physical iPhones won't be used, only iPads and Macs.
