I recently developed and published a game on the App Store. I received an email from agrowth@ apple.com, is this a legit email? The email said they wanted to discuss ways in which I want to growth the game on the platform.
I'm pretty sure it is legitimate (given it ends in @apple.com), but I wanted to make sure it isn't a phishing email before having a conversation.
This was the body of the original email:
Congratulations on the recent game launch of Wrist Blitz on the App Store!
We would like to learn more about your experience and ways Apple can help developers like you be more successful. If you have a few minutes, please let us know your thoughts in response to the following questions:
What’s the selling point of your game - what makes it unique? How do you evaluate the performance of your game? What metrics matter? What analytics tools or software (if any) do you use to measure game performance? How do you plan to get more users and grow your game? How do you monetize your game (ads, in-app purchases, etc.), and what do you think is most interesting about your monetization strategy? What information would be most helpful as you prepared to launch your game, or as you consider ongoing improvements? Please share up to 3 items, in priority order. Are you planning to use other monetization strategies in the future (advertising, subscriptions, etc.) and if so, what are they? Are you working on any new games for potential launch in the future and if so, what can you tell us about them? Thank you in advance for your support and looking forward to connecting.
The App Store team
Can anyone confirm this is legitimate?
Thanks, Vineet
