Anyone else encountering this ... The latest beta that just came out a day or two ago changed how notifications appear on the lock screen. you tap your screen to wake, faceID unlocks, and then notifications used to appear in their respective notification tiles depending on prefs, etc. After this latest iOS 16 beta, the notification tiles are there but very translucent and when you tap or swipe down or whatever to try and see them, it takes you to the particular app whose notification tile you tapped on. If there’s some way to scroll up and down in notifications and actually see them while sitting at the lock screen, for the life of me I can’t figure it out. It seems very odd that Apple would introduce some new notifications on Lock screen behavior this late in betas. This update just lost all usefulness to showing notification on the lock screen.
Every time I think to myself I must be missing something obvious, I try and figure out how to scroll/view notifications while staying on the lock screen and it's definitely not working as well as previous iOS 16 betas. If it's some new behavior, it's not intuitive at all and users are going to be ticked off. The lock screen is about the first thing users will interact with after upgrading to iOS 16.
what in the heck am I missing here?
