We are planning to renew a quite successful suite of educational apps. So far, the apps could be used by means of a one-time payment. In the future, we plan to switch to a subscription-based model.
Since IAP and especially subscriptions cannot be distributed via Apple School Manager and MDM solutions, we are considering offering the apps at a low price in the App Store and providing additional useful features for home users via IAP and for schools via external subscription solution. Is this possible and allowed?
