How can I enable developer mode in my iPad 7th-gen

I was noting that "To use *** iPad for development, enable Developer Mode in Settings → Privacy & Security." which is shown in Xcode beta version. My iPad (7th-gen) was updated to iPadOS 16 beta 4 3days ago, but only lock mode in "Privacy & Security" pages. How can I enable developer mode??? It is really strange that I can't see any Botton looks like "developer mode".

thanks! :)

3 weeks ago and no reply ? same question here....

Did you attach it to your Mac via USB? Does that Mac have Xcode 14.0 beta installed?

I don’t have the exact iPad you’re using but I do have an iPad Air (5th generation) and I tried it there. On attaching it to my Mac, the Settings > Privacy & Security > Developer Mode option showed up as expected.

The iPad is running iPadOS 16.0b6 (20A5349b).

My Mac is running 12.5.1 with Xcode 14.0b6 (14A5294g) installed. That last bit is probably relevant here, because running Xcode 14.0 beta installs the stuff that lets macOS 12 talk to i{Pad}OS 16 beta.
