Email says banking information incorrect, although it's not

Hello,

I have received an email from Apple saying:

"We’re reaching out because your banking information in iTunes Connect is invalid and needs to be corrected to ensure the successful payment of any amounts owed to you."

But I have not changed anything. I'm using the same bank account since two years and I have always received the monthly payment from Apple. When I go to App Store Connect so see my banking information at https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/agreements/#/banking everything is still correct and the status of my bank account is "Clear".

What can I do? Has someone else received the same email? Was it maybe a bug at Apple that caused sending this email to developers even if their banking information is correct? The email doesn't seems like a phishing mail since the links in the email are really going to apple.com (however, I haven't clicked them anyway).

Thank you!

I got the same email. I’m glad someone else did too, because it means they were probably sent out by mistake.

My banking details are also fine. I better get my payment tomorrow though!

I have received the same email too yesterday. I live in Greece. I received payments normally last months.

I got it yesterday. All my bank details appear to be correct. Weird that it's from iTunes Connect and not App Store Connect (and signed from the Apple Music Team).

Must be erroneous I've received the same email. But I'm not even registered for "iTunes Connect" only using App Store Connect, and there in fact only publishing free Apps - so no bank accounts at all.

I had successfull payment a few minutes ago.

Hello, some developers may have received an email yesterday noting that their banking information in iTunes Connect is invalid and needs to be corrected. This email was sent in error and we apologize. No action needs to be taken at this time.

I received 2 e-mails today. One earlier today in an account that hasn't really been active since 2014 or so, which had me scratching my had for a bit earlier today, and one just now, on our actual dev account, which has us pretty worried. So the error is still happening it seems.

If this e-mail was sent in error, can you send a follow up e-mail about it being an error or something? Also can you stop the error? It seems to me e-mails are still being sent out.

I found an article about it. Seems to be an error. Thankfully!

I also received the email about 2 different App Store Connect accounts I have. But in the banking section everything looks fine.

I found many apps still exist on the store. I don't understand that apple doesn't realize or intentionally let this problem exist. By opening the application with ip Canada. I discovered these apps have the Facebook login screen, above are some of the apps I found and found that have been available on the apple store for quite some time. Here are some apps I found:
