How long does the submission review take recently?

Hi! I start developing iOS application this year, and recently I submitted my first app to app store (on 6/4), but the review takes almost a month, and it is still not done!

The official keeps saying that they need additional time to evaluate my submission and Apple Developer Program account.

So I want to know if it is normal to wait such a long time, does anyone has the same situation recently?

And how long do you guys usually wait for the review? Thanks!

It varies: a day or sometimes a week for updates on publiced apps. For new apps it could take longer. Most of the time I got a request for additional information.

It looks like they have to check your account, not only tour app. What category of app is it ?
