Updating an App that is already in the APP store

I am trying to update one of my apps with a minor bug fix. I keep getting "App record creation error" It states: The App name you entered is already being used for another app in your account. Of course it is, its an update. I changed the version number.

Any thoughts on this error?

Can you explain what you did to create the new version ?

You should:

  • go to My apps
  • select the app you want to update
  • click on + sign

  • Then proceed to enter all required information.
