Apple App Store Connect November 2021 payment delayed ?

Hello Everyone,

My November 2021 payment was supposed to be credited by 30th December 2021. Currently it is showing "Paid" as the status. But the amount hasn't been credited yet.

One thing I observed that few amount was added on 30th December 2021 before the status getting paid.

Till date I haven't faced such issue. Usually I get paid 1 or 2 days before the "Expected Payment Date"

My friend who had same expected payment date got credited with his earnings on 27th December 2021.

I am not understanding what is happening. Is anyone else facing the same issue ?

Final Update 6 : 2nd March 2022

The payment came through . Apparently our company’s bank in India ( ICICI Bank ) was rejecting the payments because the KYC wasn’t complete from our end . The bank did not inform anything on this front that if the KYC isn’t completed the transactions will be rejected . The transactions within India were working fine . Nothing wrong from Apple side . Thank You Apple :)

My payment with the same due date was delayed until Jan 3rd 2022. Company payment came at Dec 31rd, as expected, so I know it is hardly Apple who caused the delay. Looks like "usual" New Year (and any other holiday) bank mess here, in Czech Republic. And then banks have the nerves to back date these in the statements, as if nothing happened. Fingers crossed for your payment to appear soon.

Update 1 : 5th January 2022

The payment hasn't still arrived in the bank account, Apple Finance Team aren't responding at all.

Update 2 : 6th January 2022

Apple Finance Team replied stating that :

Your payment was sent December 30 per the payment details available on your Payments and Financial Reports page in iTunes/App Store Connect. If your payment is sent by international wire, it may take several days or more to fund accounts.  At this time, your payment has not been returned to Apple.

If your bank is unable to locate your payment after 30 days, please advise at that time.

I received a message on AppStoreConnect as this :

Your payment was returned by your bank. Your bank indicated: No description or reason was provided.. You can review your banking information and make any necessary changes in the Banking section for: < My Current Bank Account > Bank Payment Reference Number: XXXXXXXXX

After that it is added in the amount for my December 2021 Payment which is supposed to come on 27 January 2022 .

Technically means I have to wait nearly a month for this .

My bank rejected because there was no description. So basically the bank sending the payment did not add description for the payment, but till date they had added description and had sent the payment . So maybe this is just a “Glitch in the matrix”

Will be updating on this again .

Met the same problem. I haven't receiced the payment of November that supposed to be received in the end of December.

Update 4 : 27 January 2022

Both the November 2021 and December 2021 payments which were supposed to come today ( usually they come 2 days earlier ) have not been received yet. My friend who had todays date for his payment has already got the payment.

Can someone from Apple Support please respond here ? We have bills to pay :(

Update 5 : 28th January 2022

Couple of hours ago the status to get paid was "Expected Payment Date" and now it is changed to "Balance Carried Forward" ? Is this even for real ? My both months amounts are way above the threshold of $150 and not a single month's amount was sent to the bank.

Last 2 days I am in constant touch with the bank and they have clearly stated that the money did not even hit their bank to find any problem in it to return it back! I am totally helpless right now. The Apple Dev Support told me yesterday that they cannot directly communicate with the Apple Finance Team and the Apple Finance Team don't respond early.

Anyone here from Apple, if you can, please help me out!

Other developers, I am out of options, does anyone know about any approach ?

You guys should contact Apple Finance from the bottom of payments and_financial reports. They will tell you what's the problem via Email. For me, the bank address was not updated caused the payment delay, but I would never know the reason if I hadn't contacted them.
