My iPhone 11 connects to my car stereo through bluetooth every single time, BUT, 3 out of 5 times music will appear its playing on the music app but no sound will come through the car speakers. To fix it, i manually disable bluetooth on the iphone, wait a couple of seconds and then enable it again.
Ive tried everything. Resetting the phone, resetting the car stereo, forgetting networks settings. I even had to exchange my phone for a new one through the 1 year warranty plan because the old one just died out of the blue. Same issues. Same. issues.
I suspect the culprit is an iOS 14/15 bug, because every single other device I have works with the car stereo with NO ISSUES. I even tried an old ipod touch. it worked, every time.
This is my last resource, Id love to receive some feedback or explanation. Its a minor issue I know, but its beyond frustrating that it cannot work reliably.
