Sales Tax on In App Purchases

Hi, I have read in this forum that Apple is taking care of the sales tax on the app store purchases. So as a developer I don't need to worry about that right. Could someone please confirm this for me and ideally share a link with the info?

I cant find anything.

I've been wondering the same thing. I agree with you, if Apple is collected sales tax from the end user, then they are responsible for remitting to the applicable state where the purchase was made. Did you every find anything out about this?
