App Store connect is not taking my app preview. I don't get any error messages. It just does nothing when I drag the file into the app previews and screenshots area. I also tried to use choose file and again nothing. The app preview was made per apple's instructions by recording in QuickTime and editing in iMovie. It's technical specs check out with the video specifications apple request other than it has no audio. Does anyone know if there is a problem right now with uploading app previews?
I added audio to this app preview. Shorten it's time to 28 seconds just incase it was a few frames over 30 secs. It is an iPad Pro 2nd gen app preview. It's resolution is 1200 x 1600 because the app is a landscape app. This is correct according to the "App Preview Specifications. https://help.apple.com/app-store-connect/?lang=en/#/dev4e413fcb8
I am using macOS Monterey 12.0 beta and Safari 15.0.
I still get no errors when I try and upload my app preview in App Store connect. It just does not acknowledge there is a file being dragged into the upload area or that I have chosen a file to upload.
Screenshots upload fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I had the same issue with Safari 14.1.2 on Big Sur 11.5.2. Emptying Caches via the Develop menu solved the problem for me:
Preferences > Advanced > Show Develop menu in menu bar
Develop > Empty Caches (option+command+E)
Same problem uploading an app from Monterey Beta 6 — no acknowledgement that an upload was even attempted.
Emptying the cache did not work for me.
I tried it on an older Macbook running Catalina and it uploaded fine.
I'm guessing it's a conflict with Safari 15.
I have exactly the same issue with Safari on macOS Monterey. After I changed to Chrome the uploading error finally shows.
I have even issues, it always shows that under processing and we are stuck with our release with fixes for a month unfortunately
