My iOS app shows desktop uses (50%) in App Store Connect Trends, but I have never enabled Apple Silicon Mac Availability in Pricing and Availability section of my app. It should not be available on mac - why does the trends section say so?
App Store Connect Trends shows desktop uses?
The https://apps.apple.com link of my app clearly says i'ts only for iPhone:
I also can't find the app in the App Store app on my Mac.
So I assume what is said in app store connect trends is wrong
I found a SO thread: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/39908994/itunes-connect-app-analytics-sales-and-trends-showing-different-values You can read in the comments and follow the link to the next question for more details.
The desktop downloads is coming from downloading with iTunes. This means on Windows or on macOS which is lower than Big Sur, Catalina for instance. Big Sur don't have iTunes. The app is then synced from the desktop to the iPhone. It shows which devices it was first downloaded on. Which is a bit misleading I think
