Add dropshadow to UIMenu?

Is it possible to add a drop shadow to the UIMenu presented? I feel like, on a screen with a lot of content, the menu is not defined at all.

I would like to give it more depth and contrast. Maybe not a drop shadow, but something to define it better. Any ideas are welcomed!
