iPhone 12 Pro iOS 14.5 MagSafe issue

I have installed the public beta of iOS 14.5 and I am not getting the new animation when using the MagSafe charger with 20W plug but getting the old battery animation as usual.
Does anybody have a solution for this?

I have noticed this in 14.5 betas as well. I’m going to file a bug report.

I’ve had the same issue since beta 1 and it’s still present in beta 3. I do still get the distinctive sound for MagSafe but not the animation. We’ll just have to wait and see until it comes back.

Same Here, my iPhone12 does not show the MagSafe connection sign anymore (after updated to 14.5, last night). There is no sound of connection either, but it charge the phone as usual. My iPad (pro) charging connection sound disappeared as well. Oh well, it has to be the Apple's well paid engineers any way. New release without a bug? it will be too easy for you Apple users to dream.

I am on iOS 14.5.1 on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and have lost the chime sound when connecting to power. I also do not have the MagSafe animation while using the MagSafe puck with the apple 20 watt charger. I am using the apple silicone MagSafe case

Same, iOS 14.5, iPhone 12 mini. Could a thick case with it's own unique magnet array cause this? I've seen the animation play, but then it stopped and reverted to just enlarging the battery icon with two sounds - magsafe click and charge
