I have a word document on my MacBook, I airdropped it to my iPhone but Microsoft Outlook keeps opening it as an attachment in a new email. I want to save the file to my phone, not open in Outlook. How do I change this?

I have the same problem but it opens in my banking-app. Tried it on my sisters phone and it didn't happen. Maybe try deinstalling the app that it opens in so the settings are "back to normal". Haven't tried it yet or else I'd have to go to the bank and get new settings again. If you try it, can you reply to me?? Thanks.
I've had the same problem with a zip file.
Air-dropping it caused the iPhone to always show it inside the webex application instead of being prompted with an "open with"menu. Could only transfer it locally to my iPhone after uninstalling webex.
It seems a recent change, as I was able to air-drop zip files without a problem a few months ago.

I have this problem 2. sometimes it opens in WhatsApp, sometimes it’s BandLab. Either way I’d like it in files and don’t know what to do! 😂 please help
