Sign in with apple stuck upon entering the password

I cannot continue upon entering the password in sign in with apple and got this error

Authorization failed: Error Domain=AKAuthenticationError Code=-7071 "(null)"

Did you ever find out why this is happening? I'm experiencing the same on the iPhoneSimulator with a sandbox Apple ID account
