App Clips editing

Hello, I have 2 questions related to editing App Clips:

1) Can we activate/deactivate App Clips for the "live" application? How it can affect users which already have installed my App Clips and use it? Or it is only affect new user, they cannot be install my AppClip or some other scenario?

2) Can we edit App Clip Card information for "live" application? For example, can we change description/header image "on the fly" and all new users which will invoke app clip will see new image?

AliaksandrMe,

Changes to the default experience require a new submission to the App Store. The default experience cannot be deactivated from App Store Connect unless the app is removed from sale. The meta tag on the webpage associated with the app clip can be removed to prevent new default experience invocations which only apply to Safari and Messages.

Changes to Advanced App Clip Experiences can be made at any time, including deactivation. The currently published version will be impacted by these changes.
An app clip cannot be published independently of its full app. A change in publication status will affect both your app clip and full app.

Details presented in the App Clip Card can be edited for the currently published version of your app clip. These edits will not be immediate as the changes must first be reviewed and then pushed live.

Hi Apple Staff,

"These edits will not be immediate as the changes must first be reviewed and then pushed live."

I did not realize there is a review process for app clip experiences, but it does make sense and seems to be indicated by the "Received" status in the Advanced App Clip Experiences page.

However, my app clip works, but it's still in the "Received" status. I understand from an early video that the status should (after review?) eventually be "Published." Will we see "Published" statuses so we know when new or changed app clip experiences have been approved? Thanks.
@Apple Staff   Thanks a lot for your answers!

For to be on the same page:

<<An app clip cannot be published independently of its full app. A change in publication status will affect both your app clip and full app.

As I understood, you mean that we cannot deactivate App Clip for current published version and it can be done only for the next release of my app. But I found this help https://help.apple.com/app-store-connect/#/dev5b665db74 (please see section "Deactivate an advanced app clip experience
") . Is this option only available before submitting my app to review? Or this option is only for advanced app clip experience? Or smth else?

Am I right understood that editing App Card for my currently published application is possible(so, I can replace my header image and text) and after review directly this changes(without resubmitting my app) it will be available for users?
rynning, please file a bug report requesting that a "Published" status state be added to clearly indicate when the registered Advanced App Clip Experiences are live.
