So I was wondering if others are still having this issue even with the new update that happened. I downloaded the iOS 14.0 update to my iPhone 11 and kept having issues with my cellular data not connecting and in turn not being able to use any apps without the use of WiFi. I looked into all the trouble shooting issues and tried them myself to no avail nothing worked to fix the issue. I noticed on another form (https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/657108) that others were having the same issue with the update and hoped that an update would fix the issues. The iOS 14.0.1 came out and I was hoping that the issue with cellular connectivity would be fixed, it unfortunately was not. I’m still having the same issues after this update and am not sure what to do because anything outside of my home my phone does not work which is problematic because I use my phone often where there is not WiFi. Hope there will be a resolution soon to the problem that happened only after the 14.0 update.
Cellular Data Connectivity iOS 14.0.1
Having the exact same issue. Leaving a note in hopes this gets resolved. Same as you tried solutions on the web but nothings worked.
Found a solution: Did a full reset of all settings. Iphone is now connected to LTE.
I have the same issue. Exact same App work under WiFi but just hangs with LTE. I don't relish a full settings reset where I have to re-add my CC's to Wallet. Can anyone else confirm the issue and have any other fixes other than waiting for the next iOS update in October?
same issue with XR, I tried everything, still not WiFi and LTE very slow.
I read several posts about loss of cellular connectivity (and many other issues) after upgrading to IOS 14.0.1. I tried the suggested fixes (turn on Airplane Mode then turn it off; Reset Network Settings; Force Restart) but no success.
The solution that worked for me (sorry I didn't save the name of the person who reported it) was to delete my VPN app. Then I restarted my iPhone 8 Plus and cellular works exactly like it should.

Anyone found a fix yet?
Model: iPhone XS Max
Issues since 14.1, currently 14.2:
cellular data: not at all or very slow upload speeds (less than 1 mbs), not at all or sometime good/very download speeds (0 or 250 mbs).
calls without wifi calling toggle active can get disconnected during the call or the other person cannot hear me while I can hear that person very well.
Carrier signal is at max level (4 bars) and there are no apparent issues with wifi or bluetooth.
I did everything! Literally checked every possible root cause:
Potential cause 1, the carrier:
I really believe this to be an iOS related issue and I hope the engineering team is on top of it.

Potential cause 1, the carrier:
tried physical sims/ e-sims
same sims in samsung worked like a charm
different carriers for each sim
called all of them, no reported outages on their side
problem still there
Spent more than 5 hours with apple support on the line while we went through all the steps (up to complete restore) and sent the full 30 mins diagnostics
conclusion: no hardware / software problem
recommendation: go to an authorized apple service provider
did that, but they also didn’t find the problem (unofficial/ personal note from them: ios-related)
installed the 14.3 beta 1 and 2, same problem

Same problem here. Did the same things as @KarenL but still have the problem. It didn’t solve anything and since I don’t want to reset all my settings can someone please help with other alternative solutions for this horrible problem. Thank you very much
I have the exact same problem. I’m using iPhone XS with iOS 14.2 and ever since this update I cannot turn the toggle on for no matter which app to use my internet data volume when I’m outside and have no WiFi connection from somewhere. I tried all of the recommendations here (except the “reset all of the iPhone settings” because I don’t want to do that. At least not yet) and nothing worked. Can someone please help solve this terrible problem because it basically renders the phone unusable. I hope Apple notices this problem and fixes it ASAP with the next update. Thank you very much
Reset Network Settings solve my problem , ios 14.2 iphone 11 pro max .
A reset of my Network Settings solved my problem. iOS14.3 iPhone 7. thank-you
