DTK macOS Big Sur damaged

I tried to setup the new Mac mini DTK with the apple silicon chip. After setting up, I was blocked by a login screen asking me name and password for "Other..." I tried to reinstall macOS in safe mode, but it says that "Installation of macOS could not be continue". I am running out of steps and really want to start using the DTK. Please help.
