I have a question about running a charity fundraising platform with my new app. It will be a sweepstakes style promotion with a cash prize with no purchase necessary. I see that Apple has a rule that no lottery tickets or 50/50 tickets can be sold inside the app. My question is can the charity take donations within the app and give entries to the sweepstakes for those donations. This seems to be different situation then lottery or 50/50 because they aren’t specifically buying entries. They are making donations and getting rewarded with entries which is how a sweepstakes works. Any help would be appreciated.
