I have been trying to upload my app for the whole day but I keep having this error:
"ITMS-90018: This bundle is invalid - The file extension must be .zip" but the format is .zip

Look at that zip in the Finder, being sure that the option to show extension is enabled. You may find something such as:

myApp.zip.ipa
