Unable to install BigSur Beta 3

Hi,
I have a 2019 MacPro with XDR Display running Catalina 10.15.6.
I created both a new volume and a new partition.
Downloaded BigSur Beta 3 and launched the installer. Selected the drive (either the partition or volume)
In both cases the installation fails after 1 minute with a popup that says: An error occurred installing MacOS. You can try again to complete the installation.
Tried multiple time including a fresh reboot. Always fail. I re-downloaded the installer 12Gb but got the same problem.
Any hints of something I could try ?
Thanks,
Guido

I had the same issue and also spent days fiddling around trying all the steps @T-Mux tried with no success plus attempting to boot from / install from external installation media. Always hit the same error:
Code Block
"MSU - 37 (FCRT migration failed.);NSPOSIXErrorDomain - 2 (failed to statfs /private/var/hardware);"

However, I can verify that what @pizzarguy suggests does work. Following the instructions for Revive the firmware on the Apple T2 Security Chip using Apple Configurator 2 solved the issue, and I am now running the beta.

I disabled FileVault and also revived the T2 firmware (per albertaki). I'm not sure which one or if both helped but the install finally worked.
Followed the method posted by albertaki. It works. However i did boot to recovery first, went to terminal (csrutil disable) and disable file vault. Thanks albertaki for the heads up.
Reviving T2’s firmware (BridgeOS) worked for me too.
